Highlights

Atmospheric performances throughout the day for lovers of every fantasy and sci-fi genre. Listen to a sung tale in the Anteadote Tearoom, raise a tankard to a Viking tune in the Dragonhall Tavern, and stomp your feet at the main stage on Saturday night.

Live Fantasy Music

Ravenhymn is a medieval rock band from London and Kent. Featuring bagpipes, flute, guitar, drums and vocals, they bring the wild party times of the Middle Ages to the modern world. Playing Saturday only.

Alternative folk band based in Cheltenham, UK, led by singer-songwriter and author Jessica Law. Known for their eclectic, story-driven, steampunky and sometimes theatrical sound, they’ll be performing on Saturday - and leading a ‘feral folk’ workshop!

Also known as Jamie, Pavo has been writing and performing music for LARP events for almost 20 years, setting personal backstory and in-game events into catchy lyrics. He’ll be performing in the Fayre’s open-sided fantasy tearoom, Anteadote, as a roving bard. Playing Saturday and Sunday.

Enjoy your favourite film, TV and game soundtracks played LIVE by classical string musicians trained at Europe’s best conservatoires as you relax in the tavern hall. Saturday and Sunday.

Camilli Strings

Within the walls of the Fae Garden, Tudor and Renaissance music will create a courtly air. Stroll, pose and feel authentically fancy as the delightful sounds of the Colchester Waits (Saturday) and New Cambridge Waits (Sunday) float through the flowers.

Playing the Anglo-Saxon lyre, the Dark Bardess sings music fit for the meadhall, ranging from traditional folk ballads of Scandinavia and England; covers of bands such as Wardruna; Viking and fantasy tv/film soundtracks and even the occasional death metal cover. Playing Saturday and Sunday.

Immerse yourself in another world! Watch in amazement as fighters duke it out in arena battles, the best archers in the land compete for prizes and favour, and Spartans fight off the Flood through the power of… dance?

Entertainment

The Techno Spartans are not just a cosplay group… they’re a full dance troupe! Halo and K-Pop cross worlds in their performances, and you can even join in their freeplay sessions to learn some moves yourself.

Hilarious show blending Dungeons and Dragons with unpredictable audience participation. One audience member is also chosen at random to join the actors onstage for each show... hunt out the quest board during the Fayre to sign up!

It’s Your Role

A mysterious poet who always seems to show up just when things are getting interesting enough to write home about! Hilarious medieval and steampunk-themed performance poetry and beginner-friendly D&D one-shots.

Look out for the flashing blades of two rival fencing masters! Can they settle their differences… or help you settle a score yourself? Outlaw Entertainments, weapon masters of stage and screen, will be on hand to demonstrate and teach how to fight a real duel. Damn your eyes, sah!

Archery Competition

Some of the UK’s best traditional archers will be competing to win the grand prize in a series of tricky challenges. Get behind your favourite and cheer them on!

We’re proud to support the Essex Witch Museum, a community interest company working to bring a museum to Essex in commemoration of the Witch Trials (1542 to 1736). Visit their medieval cottage to explore the true trials of the accused.

Suffolk Swords

On its travels, the roving village of World’s Edge picked up a bunch of 15th-century knights and archers. They’re delighted to be out of the battle… but they can’t quite stop fighting. Watch them battle it out in authentic combat, or pop to their camp to sign up as a swordsperson!

Mushroom Parade

Come dressed as a mushroom and you can join the Mycelial Network, who will be parading around the Fayre to bring joy and connection to all.

Wild Camp Workshop

You’ve roleplayed making camp. But have you done it for real? Learn to light a fire and build a shelter from survival experts.

Priority booking

Some workshops will need to be booked before the event. Booking will open to existing ticketholders on 10 April 2026 - if you’ve bought your ticket before that date, you’ll get priority. Numbers are limited.

Do workshops cost extra?

Most are free with your ticket! Some carry an additional charge for materials and expert tuition.

Don’t just watch… do! The full programme of workshops (including times) will be announced on 10th April. They’ll be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and those who have already got tickets get first dibs… so book your tickets now to be first in line!

There are also plenty of activities which anyone can walk up and enjoy.

Beginners and experts alike can try their aim at a range of 3D fantasy targets, brought to you by the fantasy fun maestros at White Dragon Activity Centre.

SFX Cosplay Class

Discover the secrets of special effects makeup with the pros! UK creatives will teach you how to create an SFX look from start to finish. Exact look TBC, theme may be scary (not suitable for young children).

Feral Folk Choir

A singing workshop where anyone can join in with some easy to learn, fun and quirky songs. Sunday only. Led by Jessica Law & the Outlaws, who will be performing on Saturday.

D&D One-Shots

Beginner-friendly, exciting Dungeons & Dragons adventures! Written specially for World’s Edge by travelling adventurer Bard the Showman, these short sessions give you a fantastic introduction into the world of roleplaying. Suitable for new and experienced players alike, characters will be assigned.

Have-a-go Duelling

Got beef? Head to the duelling grounds! The Duelmaster will allow you and your friend to settle your differences with a Nerf duel - proper etiquette observed, of course.

Hair & Makeup Drop-In

You deserve a treat! Fix up your camping hair, get a quick cosplay look to match your outfit, or seek advice - just pop to the MUA room between workshops.
